Maintaining proper oral health for our companion animals is commonly overlooked. It is estimated that 85% of dogs and cats show signs of oral disease by the time they reach the age of 4 years!

Gum disease in pets causes ongoing pain and discomfort and eventually leads to bad breath and tooth loss. Consequently, if left untreated, dental disease and infections will progress to more serious conditions affecting major organs such as the heart and kidneys.

Dental disease is easier prevented than treated and we therefore recommend routine dental examinations and cleanings as needed, to ensure your pet’s continued health and quality of life. We are also able to instruct owners on the many ways they are able to perform preventative dental home care for their pets.
